On April 1 1989, four brothers, unaware of what lay ahead, started a makeshift clothes shop on a pavement in Anna Nagar. After nine years of roadside business, a resident of Anna Nagar helped accommodate them in a 25 sq.ft shop. This marked a turning point, leading to the opening of "WAVES" in September 2001 in Bluestar Anna Nagar, and another shop in Mogappair in 2004.
From these humble beginnings, Waves has grown into a recognized brand across Tamil Nadu. The brothers, self-made entrepreneurs, dedicated their lives to building the business, attending to every detail from billing to alterations. Their dream materialized in 2006 with an 11,000 sq ft store in Shanthi Colony. Today, Waves Clothing Pvt Ltd provides employment to hundreds and continues its philanthropic efforts quietly.
